Today, bombing victims Ramazan Yıldız and Necati Kurul are being buried as well. After twin bombings at a crowded HDP rally rocked Diyarbakır yesterday afternoon, citizens wounded by the ball bearing-based cluster bombs were rushed to hospitals across the city. Despite the efforts of local doctors and the solidarity of tens of thousands of Diyarbakır residents who flooded to the hospitals to give blood, three have lost their lives so far. Necati Kurul, 46, lost his life at Diyarbakır's Veni Vidi hospital last night. 16-year-old Razaman Yıldız died in Dicle University's Medical Faculty Hospital last night while in surgery. Finally, Şehmuz Kaçan, after also having surgery at the university hospital, lost his life in intensive care. Last night, Şehmuz Kaçan's family and HDP activists buried him in his native village of Sirim, near Diyarbakır. 16-year-old Ramazan Yıldız, the youngest victim of the bombing, are being buried in a mass ceremony, as is Necati Kurul. 316 people are continuing to be treated in hospitals in the city for wounds sustained in the bombing.
