KCK calls for 'national unity' 2015-08-10 21:48:36 NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - KCK (Kurdistan Communities' Union) Foreign Affairs Committee has released a statement denouncing that some dark forces, press-media agencies and circles in South Kurdistan have recently been spreading black propaganda with reports claiming that PKK will launch an attack on KDP. KCK said these circles argued that "PKK will attack KDP whom they hold responsible for the recently started and ongoing airstrikes of the Turkish state against Medya Defense Zones held by guerrillas in South Kurdistan". Describing these reports as a propaganda and unfounded claims, and condemning them, KCK called on all the Kurdistan people and political-societal forces, the people and political parties of South Kurdistan in the first place, to be sensible towards the games of these dark forces. KCK Foreign Affairs Committee underlined that such propaganda, reports, comments and rumors were apparently being spread by those who couldn't accept the gains achieved by the Kurdish people, Freedom Movement and democracy forces in Turkey and the Middle East. According to KCK, these provocative approaches, which are manifested in parallel with the recently launched attacks on Kurdish Freedom Movement in North Kurdistan and Turkey and the airstrikes in South Kurdistan, aim to cause an inner war among Kurdish forces and to eliminate the gains of the Kurdish people and movement in four parts of Kurdistan. KCK underlined that in contradistinction to these baseless reports, the Kurdish movement didn't consider any conflict with the KDP or any other force from Kurdistan but rather focus on and made efforts for national unity during the current process when the Kurdish people are facing serious threats and dangers in all four parts of Kurdistan. "Our movement believes the existing problems can be solved through talks and dialogue between the Kurdish political powers in four parts", stressed the KCK statement. Pointing to the danger of such traps and plots in this current process which is fragile for the gains in every part of Kurdistan, KCK said intensifying the works for National Unity would be the best answer to be given to those who want to create a conflict among Kurds. KCK Foreign Affairs Committee ended its statement by calling on all the Kurdistan people, political parties, organisations and individuals, the people of South Kurdistan in the first place, to adopt clear attitude and intensify the works for National Unity in response to the efforts for creating such a conflict among Kurds.
