2 civillians massacred in Turkish airstrike 2015-12-12 19:47:07 NEWS DESK (DİHA) - The People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) reported in a written statement that the Turkish war planes massacred two Kurdish civilians. Attacks targeting HPG defence fields from Turkish war planes have caused the death of two civilians who were guests from the Uludere district of Şırnak province to carry out border trade. Villagers have gone towards the border with South Kurdistan in order to take the bodies of their deceased have not been allowed due to Turkish force prevention. Attacks to defence fields towards HPG bases have been ongoing since 24th of July, whereas the attack which started last night and ended this morning has caused the death of two civillians. The HPG-BIM has published a written statement in regard to the attack which states: "Our defence fields in Zap, Metîna, Garê, Haftanîn, Avaşîn and Xakurkê have been bombed violently during the 11th-12th of December night and morning. This has been the most widely-covered attack in recent days, martyring two guests on our fields called Hurşit Ölmez and Macit Ölmez from the Şîfrezan village in the district of Uludere, Şırnak.’ Meanwhile, hundreds of locals from Uludere district have set out to claim bodies of 2 civilians, but facing barricades of Turkish soldiers in the countryside of the district. After talks with military officials, a delegation from the mass has been allowed to cross the border. The bodies are expected to be brought to Uludere at the morning hours. (aek/nt)
