2 minors wounded in Cizre referred to Şırnak for treatment 2015-12-21 18:58:13 ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - In Cizre district of Şırnak where attacks by state forces are getting heavier, Mevlit Şimşek (11) and Yakup Yıldırım (17) got wounded as a result of gunfire by security forces earlier today. Turkish military and police forces have aggravated their attacks as they have yet not been able to enter the neighborhoods where people continue resisting on the eight day of an onslaught under the name of a curfew. Mevlit Şimşek (11) and Yakup Yıldırım (17) suffered an injury as a result of gunfire by special operation police in Cudi neighborhood. Both have been referred to Şırnak State Hospital and taken under treatment here. While Şimşek was shot by a bullet in the hip and Yıldırım in the knee, the latter will undergo a surgery tomorrow following a medical response today. (nt)
