Building of Kurdish institutions in Silopi set ablaze 2016-01-08 15:15:09 ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - In Silopi district of Şırnak where genocidal attacks by state forces are going on for the 26th uninterrupted day, members of Turkish security forces have set the building of Kurdish institutions ablaze. State forces have today targeted the Kurdish institutions operating in the town on the 26th day of the onslaught on Kurdish civilians, their houses, neighborhoods and properties. A five-storey building where Silopi branches of DBP, MEYA-DER, TUHAD-DER, Political Academy, Peace Mothers' Assembly and KJA are located have been set ablaze by special operation police today. Members of special operation police forces set the building on fire shouting Allahu Akbar, and denied access to the fire squads that wanted to go to the scene for intervention. Reports are coming through that the fire left the building unusable. (nt)
