People pour into streets for Kobanê
NEWS DESK (DİHA) - Hundreds of people poured into the streets in the Yenişehir district of Amed to protest the attacks by ISIS gangs on Kobanê, whistling and banging pots.
The protesters shouted the slogans “long live the resistance of Kobanê” and the ISIS gangs and AKP government were condemned. Thousands of people also poured into the streets in the Cizre and Silopi districts of Şırnak yesterday evening in protest at ISIS gangs. They lit a fire and closed the roads to traffic.
The people in Cizre opened fire into the air with long barrelled weapons. While the people patrolled the streets in their vehicles, they frequently shouted slogans in favour of the YPG. It is reported that the demonstrations continued until the late hours of the night in Cizre and Silopi.
