12 more Êzîdî youngs join Yekîneyên Berxwedana Şengalê ranks
SHENGAL (DİHA) - 12 Êzîdî youths at Mount Sinjar (Shengal) have joined the ranks of the Sinjar Resistance Units (YBS, Yekîneyên Berxwedana Şengalê) to fight the ISIS gangs that are continuing attacks in Sinjar region they entered on 3rd August.
A military ceremony was held to mark the participation of the new graduates of the Derwêşê Evdî Academy where they were provided with military and ideological instruction at a training cycle organised in the name of Martyr Zinar. The military ceremony witnessed speeches calling attention to the danger and threats being faced by the people of Sinjar today and putting emphasis on the need for all Êzîdî youths to take an active part in the Sinjar resistance.
The new fighters joined the YBS ranks after taking the pledge of allegiance.
