42 combatants graduate from qualification course
QAMISHLO (DİHA) - More than 40 combatants of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) and the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) were graduated from Şehîd Rojhat Qualification Course on January 22 at Şehîd Sadiq Academy for Military Training.
The two-month lasting course was focused on military training, lessons on defense project, and ideological classes. The graduation ceremony started with a minute of silence in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of freedom and democracy. The combatants were later were swore in, pledging to serve the struggle and keep their comrades footsteps.
The ceremony was ended with a performance of revolutionary songs and slogans by the graduates, praising the resistance that is being expressed by the YPG/YPJ units in Rojava.
