Bahçeli: Turkish army acted under guidance of PKK
ANKARA (DİHA) - Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) General President Devlet Bahçeli strongly reacted to the moving of the Suleyman Shah tomb to a YPG-held area in Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava.
Speaking at the group meeting of his party, the MHP leader said that the AKP government acted cowardly in the moving of the tomb and that Turkey has for the first time lost its soil. Reminding of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's remarks that “Whatever is necessary will be done against any attack on Suleyman Shah tomb” on 23 March 2014, the MHP leader said: “The bones of our ancestor were carried in a transport vehicle. The Turkish state has retreated from its land.”
Remarking that the AKP government obtained permission from the PKK in order to reach the Suleyman Shah tomb, Bahçeli said: “Turkish military units passing through the corridor in Kobanê acted under the guidance of PKK.”
