March 12 exhibition in Amûdê

AMÛDÊ (DİHA) - Seventeen painters in Amûdê city of Rojava opened an exhibition in memory of March 12 Marytrs. The exhibition opened at Hurî Art and Culture Center of Amûdê.
On March 12, 2004 and following days 39 civilians in Qamişlo were killed by the Syrian regime forces and their civilian armed supporters coming from Deir al-Zour city of Syria before a football match started Qamişlo Stadium.
Kurds in Cizîre Canton have been organizing various activities to commemorate the massacred civilians.
