'HDP is springing over election threshold fast and furious'
NEWS DESK (DİHA) - The parliamentary candidates of the HDP are resuming their election works across Kurdistan and Turkey. The candidates of "Great Humanity" opened election offices in some centers and visited peoples within the scope of their election campaign.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) election campaign has gained speed in Kurdistan. The HDP Diyarbakır deputy candidates opened two election offices in Dicle neighbourhood and Ofis Library street. As thousands of people joined the opening ceremony, the ceremony turned into rally.
'We will declare our election victory at June 7th night'
HDP MP Diyarbakır MP and deputy candidate Nursel Aydoğan spoke about 10 percent election threshold and said, "This threshold was formed to inhibit Kurds from the parliament. AKP did not change the 10 percent election threshold, remnant of 12 September term. We are stating to AKP; HDP is springing over election threshold fast and furious. We are exceeding it. We will declare our election victory at June 7th night."
In Malatya province, HDP deputy candidates Perihan Yücekaya, Ahmet Akar, Latife Ulutaş and Nejdet Bali, paid a visit to the shopkeepers in İnönü Avenue. HDP Deputy Candidate Aydın Erdoğan also visited Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Culture Union.
In southeastern province of Antep, HDP provincal organization held a press statement concerning the party's meeting called "Humanity Rally" to be held in the city on May 16th. HDP deputy candidates Celal Doğan, Mahmut Toğrul, Tuğçe Özsoy, Fatoş Çetinkaya, Mecit Bozkurt, Osman Demirci and Gülseren Kocaer joined the meeting. HDP Antep Provincal Co-chair Mehmet Karayılan called on the peoples to join in the rally to be held Democracy Square at 18.00.
The HDP is resuming its election works in also eastern province of Bingöl. The party opened a woman election office in Genç district. The streets of the district were decorated with the flag of HDP. The crowd of people danced halays for a while and chanted the slogans of "Woman, life, freedom".
In southeastern province of Urfa, HDP deputy candidates Leyla Güven, İbrahim Ayhan, Ayşe Doğan and Yasin Batan visited shopkeepers, villages and came together with people. The candidates told about their project of "New Life" and called for suppport.
