Garden of peoples, Adana, embrace HDP

ADANA (DİHA) - The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is resuming its rallies under the motto of "Great Humanity".

The party has held its Adana rally today at Station Square. In spite of the hot weather, tens of thousands of people have flowed to the square and filled in the square. The youngs at the frontlines danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP, demanding "Freedom for Öcalan".

Crowd scream 'Freedom for Öcalan'

The crowds of people opened the placards reading "If we forget Roboski, let our heart dry", "Freedom to peoples and beliefs", "HDP is assurance of peace", "What is the election threshold, Demirtaş? There is Lake Van, will we pass it?" and "We are marching towards freedom" were opened in the rally. The residents of Adana have emotionalised with the election songs of the HDP.

One minute silence has been held in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of freedom and democracy and the crowd shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" in the wake of respect silence. The crowd of people cried our slogans of "Freedom for Öcalan".

The locals have given the message of full support to HDP Adana deputy candidates Rıdvan Turan, Meral Danış Beştaş, Vedat Özkan, Beyhan Günyeli, Tugay Bek, Hatice Kavran, Barış Karabıyık, Feride Peynirci, İsmail Başaran, Nefise Balyemez, Reşit Ertaş, Kader Duman, Hıdır Koluman and Feyruze Gümüş.

HDP General Co-chairs Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş will address to the mass of people.
