Turkish troops massacre pregnant woman at border
TIL TEMIR (DİHA) – Turkish soldiers shot and killed a pregnant woman at the border between Rojava and Northern Kuridstan.
Müna Derwiş, 35, was seven months pregnant and trying to cross the border from Turkey into Rojava when Turkish soldiers opened fire on her.
According to reports, Derwiş was trying to cross the border on June 2 to go to Rojava, where her husband had work, when Turkish soldiers opened fire on her. Derwiş was severely wounded and died along with her unborn child.
Derwiş was buried yesterday in the village of Fekêh, near the city of Til Temir in Rojava.
