Members of free citizen detained
DİYARBAKIR (DİHA) - Seven people have been detained in Diyarbakır, including 5 members of the 'Equal and Free Citizens' Association'.
While the armed counter forces terrorized the people in Diyarbakır yesterday evening, police forces raided several places this morning, detaining 7 people for alleged involvement in the incidents of yesterday.
Police raided this morning the association office in Gaziler neighborhood in Kayapınar district of Amed and detained 5 members, Bilal Filiz, İshak Akkuş, Hêvîdar Diker, Serkan Diker and Mehmet Yıldız, while the names of the two other detainees could not be verified.
The detainees have reportedly been taken to police headquarters in Diyarbakır.
