Kidnapped Êzidî child posing with gun freed from ISIS
SHENGAL (DİHA) - In recent days, two Êzidî women and four children have been freed from the captivity of ISIS gangs.
An Êzidî activist has managed to get the women released along with their children. Details of their release have been kept secret for reasons of safety. Both the women and children are out of danger now.
Among those four children is a boy who had been previously used by ISIS for propaganda pictures showing him wearing the terrorist militia´s black robe that he also wore during his release and posing with a gun.
Over 1,000 Êzidî children were kidnapped by ISIS gangs from Shengal region in August last year. According to the UN, children of eight years and above are being trained militarily by ISIS to become future jihadists. Several Êzidî child soldiers were already deployed and killed in battle.
