ISTANBUL (DİHA) - Police attacked a group who had gathered to protest the Suruç massacre in Istanbul's Kadıköy neighborhood.
Yesterday evening, hundreds of members of political parties and civil society organizations gathered at the bull statue in Istanbul's neighborhood of Kadıköy to protest Monday's Suruç massacre. They carried photographs of those who died in the bombing, red flags and signs.
Police attacked the march with tear gas and rubber bullets. As clashes spread into the back streets, the crowd responded with fireworks. 13 people were arrested.
