DBP calls for protests against military and political attacks
DİYARBAKIR (DİHA) - Party of Democratic Regions (DBP) Headquarters sent out a memorandum to its women’s and youth councils, city and district co-presidents, regional and general local administrations and co-mayors.
In the memorandum, DBP noted that the government could not digest its recent electoral defeat and increased its manipulative attempts. DBP emphasized that the attacks attributed to ISIS such as the ones in Amed and Suruç had been carried out with the planning efforts of Turkish President and the AKP, and the forest fires, reconnaissance flights, and guard post constructions have proved that AKP was preparing for war and chaos, and would even risk the lives of millions of people, in order to protect its governing role.
'Protests should be organizzed immediately'
The DBP memorandum underlined the dangers of the operations over the past two days for the future of the country, and stated that the operations of political genocide and attacks on guerrilla zones tried in 2009 are tried again, but would undoubtedly fail.
DBP said that they would never be silent in the face of such attacks and called upon its women’s and youth councils, city and district co-presidents, regional and general local administrations and co-mayors to organize democratic actions, marches, and press conferences to protest state attacks immediately.
