Turkish state and KDP protested across South Kurdistan
HEWLER (DİHA) - Turkish army attacks on Medya Defense Zones and the KDP stance on these attacks were protested in South Kurdistan. People will march from Silêmanî to Kandil today.
HEWLER
Asayiş forces prevented the march from Şanedar Park to the Turkish Consulate today in Hewler. Protestors then issued a press statement near the Turkish Consulate and protested the attacks on guerilla forces.
REWANDUZ
Attacks on Medya Defense Zones were condemned in the protests led by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK), the Goran Movement, the Freedom Movement (Tevgera Azadî), the Laborers Party of Kurdistan (Hizba Zahmetkeşanê Kurdistan) and the Communist Party of Kurdistan.
KELAR
Led by the Freedom Movement (Tevgera Azadî), hundreds of people protested the attacks with flags and banners in the Kelar district of Germiyan. Protestors stated that PKK was a Kurdish force defending entire Kurdistan and Kandil was their red line that should not be crossed. Protestors also objected to the KDP’s stance on the attacks and chanted anti-KDP slogans.
RANYA
Protestors led by the Freedom Movement (Tevgera Azadî), RJAK, Resistance Party (Partiya Parêzger) and the Patriotic Youth Movement of Kurdistan chanted the slogans of ‘Murderer Erdoğan,’ ‘Down with treason,’ and ‘Long live resistance’ in the Ranya district of Silêmanî.
KANDİL
Civilians from Hewlêr, Silêmanî, and Kirkuk will gather in the Ranya district of Silêmanî and march to the guerilla zones in Kandil under the attack of the Turkish state.
DUHOK
Political party and non-governmental organization representatives will protest the Turkish state’s attacks in front of Duhok Governor's Office at 17:30 today. Attacks will also be protested in the Şeladizê town of Duhok today.
