Two brothers executed by police laid to rest
AĞRI (DİHA) - Thousands of people bid farewell to Sezai Yaşar and Ahmet Yaşar brothers, who were executed by police alongside with HPG fighter Mirzeydin Göktürk (nom de guerre Mervan Axçar) in a house raid in Ağrı, in Diyadin district.
Special operation teams of police executed 3 people in a house they raided in Ağrı province previous night. After hundreds of special operation police blockaded the Sıtkiye neighborhood of Ağrı, police teams raided a house and executed Sezai Yaşar (26), his brother Ahmet Yaşar and HPG fighter Mirzettin Göktürk inside.
A massive farewell was held for the brothers in Diyadin, while the shopkeepers did not open their workplaces for mourning. Thousands of people shouldered the coffins and brought them to the cemetery amid slogans in favor of PKK and PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
'AKP is answerbacking with massacres'
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Iğdır MP M. Emin Adıyaman, Ağrı MPs Dirayet Taşdemir, Berdan Öztürk and M. Emin İlhan also participated into the funeral ceremony. MEYADER representative Cenap İlboğa, who was seriously wounded during the state’s provocation on Tendürek mountain, made a short speech.
İlboğa said, "PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan has started a peace and democratic solution process, but AKP is answerbacking with massacres."
'Let's organize peace against war'
HDP MP Taşdemir also spoke and underlined, "These friends were armless. They were executed extrajudically. Erdoğan has sacrificied the peace process for his egos for ruling. New massacres are being suffered every other day. This is our call to all of the peoples; let's organize peace against war".
