Bodies of 20 YPG/YPJ fighters held at Rojava border

URFA (DİHA) - Upon an instruction by AKP, authorities continue denying permission for the delivery of bodies of fallen YPG/YPJ fighters from Rojava to North Kurdistan.

Upon an instruction by AKP government's Cabinet of Ministers, Turkish authorities continue denying permission for the delivery of bodies of fallen YPG/YPJ fighters from Rojava to their homeland North Kurdistan. As the Turkish ban on the entry of martyrs' bodies continue, the number of deceased combatants held at Mürşitpınar border crossing between Suruç district of Urfa and Rojava, has risen to 20 today.

Families of the martyrs are resisting at the border gate for six days now to reclaim the bodies of their beloved ones.

The names of the YPG/YPJ fighters whose bodies are not being allowed into North Kurdistan are;

- Mansur Babur (Derweş) - 1990 Wan/Çatak
- Bedirhan Korkmaz (Zana Şoreş) - 1994 Bitlis/Hizan
- Ercan Tekin (Zinar Urfa) 1989 - Urfa/Suruç
- Abdullah Alfidan (Armanç Pirsus) - 1990 Urfa/Suruç
- Ozan Deniz (Adil Bilik) - 1995 Şırnak
- Muhterem Tekin (Argeş Serhad) - 1991 Van/Karküçük Vicinity
- Kemal Gülrat (Mazlum Şax) - 1991 Van/Çatak
- Mehmet Akyüz (Tekoşer Firaz) - Diyarbakır
- Hasan Teymur (Agir Wan) - Van
- Leyla Yiğit (Aryen Umud Colemerg) - Hakkari
- Umut Karadağ (Serhed Eriş) - Mersin
