Blast in Van leaves 2 children injured

VAN (DİHA) - Two children were wounded after the blast of an explosive they found out in the trash in Hacıbekir neighbourhood of Van.
15 years old Özcan Işık and 13 years old Mazlum Işık who were seriously wounded on the chest and hands were taken under treatment at Van Regional Training and Research Hospital.
Following an initial treatment here, Mazlum Işık was referred to Dursun Odabaşı Medical Centre.
The treatment of the children continues, with hospital authorities reporting that they are not in life threatening situation.
In the meantime, HDP Van deputy Lezgin Botan and BDP Van branch co-chair Hamiyet Şahin arrived at the hospital in order to receive information about the health situation of the children.
