Concurrent attack at police and soldier in Yüksekova
HAKKARİ (DİHA) - Concurrent attacks were carried out with rocket launchers and long barreled weapons at Turkish police and soldiers in eastern district of Yüksekova at Wednesday night.
At 13 August night, fighters from HPG (People's Defense Forces) organized concurrent attacks with rocket launchers and long barreled weapons against Turkish police and soldiers in eastern district of Yüksekova, in Hakkari province, at Wednesday night. The attacks targeted at District Brigade Commandery and District Police Headquarters.
In the wake of the attacks, armed clash broke out in the district resuming for a long time. No casualties have been reported for the attacks, but damages occured on the targeted buildings.
Self-defense barricades in neighbourhoods
Meanwhile, Kurdish people set barricades at the entrances of the neighbourhoods in order to prevent police house raids. The youths took vigils along the night and somtimes chanted slogans of "Long live Leader Apo" and "Long live resistance of HPG".
The youths resumed the self-defens vigils up until morning hours.
