ANKARA (DİHA) - According to initial reports, many people were killed and wounded in twin explosions which hit "Peace Rally" in Ankara.
Two explosions shook a road junction in the centre of the Turkey's capital Ankara on October 10, causing many casualties including fatalities. At least 27 people were massacred and 100 more wounded, reports said.
The cause of the blasts was not immediately clear. According to some eyewitnesses, the motive behind explosions could be a suicide bomber.
The explosions occurred ahead of a planned "peace" march organized by labor unions and a number of NGOs to protest against the conflict in Turkey.
