MARDİN (DİHA) - In Nusaybin district of Mardin where a curfew remains in effect in its eight day, aggression by state forces against civilians continues.

A youth by the name of Muhammed Altunkaynak was targeted by police bullets as he went back to his house from his neighbors in Abdulkadir Paşa neighborhood late last night. The youth who got heavily wounded at the scene, was taken by neighborhood residents to a nearby house where he lost his life soon later. Altunkaynak's body remained in the house and couldn't be taken out due to the continued police attack. People managed to take him to Nusaybin State Hospital only this morning.

Ongoing attacks by Turkish ''security forces' left a 19-year-old youth by the name of Musur Aslan dead and Rabia Bağtur (35) wounded late yesterday evening.

On the other hand, Emin Öz (55) committed suicide late yesterday after undergoing a depression due to police blockade which didn't allow him to take his disabled mother to hospital amid the ongoing aggression and curfew.

With the most recent casualties, the number of civilians who died during the last one week of curfew in the district rose to 6, and those wounded to 15.

Electricity, water and internet services remain suspended in the district as police forces continue their attacks against neighborhoods which they couldn't enter yet due to the resistance by local people. Ongoing attacks by state forces mainly intensify in Abdulkadir Paşa neighborhood as police teams remain deployed around Newroz Square and the old hospital area.
