Turkish police shot another child in Cizre
ŞIRNAK (DIHA) - In Cizre district of Şırnak where a fifth curfew is in effect since yesterday, people poured out into the streets in protest at the curfew which was unusually announced hours before going into effect alongside Silopi district.
Attacks by special operation police in Cudi neighborhood started soon after the beginning of the curfew, and as people continued making sound-making protests at night against the never-ending onslaught by the state. A bullet shot by police left 11-year-old Ferhat Tanış heavily wounded in the head.
While people around managed to rush Tanış to Cizre hospital, he was later referred to Şırnak State Hospital due to a life-threatening situation.
