Mass protests against AKP's pro-massacre policy
DIYARBAKIR (DIHA) - The General Co-Presidency of DBP (Party of Democratic Regions) has sent a notice to all its organisations calling for interrupted mass protests against the war concept of the AKP government.
The general instruction by DBP pointed out that the war concept pursued by the AKP government against Kurdish people since 7 June has been carried to a new stage.
"The government has dragged the country into darkness by implementing a state of siege across the Kurdish region, mainly in Sur, Nusaybin, Kerboran, Cizre, Silopi and İdil. In response to these practices of denial, annihilation and systematic murder by the AKP state, all our officials and organisations should stand and take urgent action against this war concept on the basis of a disciplined and organised democratic action plan. Our provincial, district and town organisations should promptly initiate uninterrupted democratic actions, and stand against this massacre in all the areas."
DBP ended its statement by calling for a more responsible and mass stance against massacres as the Kurdish people are going through a critical and historic process when their future will be shaped by democratic protests.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people took streets in Yüksekova, Dersim, Antep, Urfa, Siirt and Izmir, holding massive marches against pro-massacre policies of AKP government.
