75-year-old man severely injured by police
ŞIRNAK (DIHA) – As state terror continues amid curfew in the district of Cizre, a 75-year-old man called Osman Emcür is severely injured from his stomach in the neighbourhood of Cudi. The elderly man has been treated by civilians for a long time due to the entry of ambulance not being allowed to the neighbourhood.
The curfew which is ongoing in the district of Cizre in Şırnak with shooting attacks from special operation teams have injured a 75-year-old man severely from his stomach. Osman Emcür, who lives on Vatan Street in the Cudi Neighbourhood, was returning from his son’s house and travelling to his own house when he became the target of bullets in front of his house.
Due to Emcür not being able to go to the hospital, he has been provided treatment by civillians. This is because ambulance entry into the neighbourhood has been banned because of the curfew. He has been taken to hospital in the afternoon.
Omer Emcür, who explained how his father had been shot by police said “Since last night, the street is being raided. Around 50 bullets have been blasted where my dad has been shot. Nobody is greater than God. Until when is this misery going to carry on.”
