DİYARBAKIR (DİHA) - JİNHA reporter Beritan Canözer, who had been detained while following up news in Diyarbakır, remanded in custody.

Beritan Canözer, journalist of Women’s News Agency (JİNHA), remanded in custody. She had been taken into custody during following up the protest march against the curfew declared in Sur district of Diyarbakır and had detained for being “nervous”.

Canözer had been taken into custody by special operation police teams on the grounds of “reasonable doubt”.

Female journalist Canözer was jailed with the claim of "aiding illegal organization".
