Intervention to mass on way back from Cudi: 20 detained
ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - Masses walking from Şırnak to Cizre and Silopi since yesterday were targeted by artillery fire from Hisar Tank Battalion after a series of obstacles and hindrances by military and police forces.
As attacks on the march increased, the mass divided into three groups, one of which took their way back to Şırnak city centre as they faced more aggression on their way to Cizre and Silopi from the foothills of Mount Cudi since yesterday evening.
Those turning back to Şırnak were stopped and attacked by Turkish troops near the area of coal mines.
20 among them were detained and taken to İkizce Gendarmerie Command, while the rest has arrived in Şırnak.
