Rocket attack at military convoy heading to Cizre
MARDİN (DİHA) - A Turkish military convoy on its way to Şırnak's Cizre district was targeted by a rocket attack. The convoy heading from Mardin's Kızıltepe district was targeted on İpekyolu (Silk Road) Wednesday afternoon.
While an intense smoke rose from the scene, two armored vehicles were left unusable as a result of the attack. Whether the action left casualties or not was not immediately clear.
In the wake of the action, state forces in Mardin's Nusaybin district intensified their attacks on the areas of self-rule.
