Police fire on family in Dargeçit: 2 massacred, 3 wounded
MARDİN (DİHA) - In Dargeçit district of Mardin where a state of siege has left 13 days behind, police forces are now opening fire on houses upon their continued failure to break the resistance of people in the areas of self-rule.
Special operation teams raked a house with gunfire in Safa neighborhood, which killed Necim Kılıç (67) as he went into the garden to use the bathroom outside his house. The family members that rushed out after hearing the shot were also targeted by police, which left his daughter Sabahat Kılıç (28) dead, too. Three others from the same family were wounded.
While bodies of Necim Kılıç and Sabahat Kılıç were taken to Midyat State Hospital's morgue, the other three were taken to Dargeçit State Hospital for treatment.
