Another civilian shot by police in Cizre
ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - In the 17th day of the onslaught against popular self-rule resistance in Şırnak's Cizre district, state forces continue terrorizing people under an uninterrupted aggression. Special operation police have shot yet another civilian in the head, which left him heavily wounded.
A man by the name of Kazım Tong was targeted while taking his children home from a neighbor in Nur neighborhood today noon. Shot by a bullet in the head, the man was heavily wounded as a result of the deliberate armed attack. Residents have managed to take him to Cizre State Hospital.
In the meantime, tanks deployed around the Garrison Command in the district have started to target Nur neighborhood with random tank strikes as of early this morning. A number of houses hit by cannon balls have been devastated.
Cudi neighborhood is also targeted by tanks deployed on Hill Cahferi Sadık.
