Investigation launches against Demirtaş
AMED (DİHA) – Diyarbakır Chief Public prosecutor’s office have launched an investigation against HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş.
It has been noted that investigation has been launched on the ground of statements he protested and criticized prosecutors for detentions of Amed Municipality co-Mayors Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı.HDP co-chair had participated the protest with thousands citizens of Amed for unlawful detentions co-mayors
Demirtaş has responded to prosecutor about launched investigation on his official twitter account.
“Here we are! I was concerning about him what if something happened to him. Because he was late to launch investigation.” Demirtaş has responded in his official twitter account.
